What will a naturapath do in terms of helping a skin condition?
After battles with numerous doctors about their level of care with my toddler, I’ve been told to take my toddler who suffers severe eczema to a naturapath. Doctors are just too quick to brush him off, throw some new cream at us, and refuse to address any underlying triggers for the eczema, because I do believe something is triggering my boys skin condition. We’ve tried food journals, dietary eliminations, but can’t seem to draw a concrete conclusion.
What will they actually do? He is just over two if it makes a difference.
It is tough to find the foods your child might be allergic to. Our son is allergic to a lot of different foods including dairy, gluten, some fruits and vegetables. You might want to get a food allergy test done. It also could be some environmental allergy. It could be the detergent you use. There are lots of things that can trigger eczema.
It all depends on if you find the right doctor if they will help you. We did a lot of searching. Good luck.
